Twilio is a cloud communications platform as a service company with HQ in San Francisco. Twilio allows software developers to programmatically make and receive phone calls, send and receive text messages, and perform other communication functions using its web service APIs.

Who are we looking for?

📍 You are a Java/Scala enthusiast and professional with 4+ years of experience (even if you don’t have production experience with Scala, but feel comfortable to switch, feel free to apply).

📍 2+ years of experience in data streaming and/or analytics technologies like Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, Flink, KSQL, Elasticsearch or others.

📍 You understand scalability challenges and the performance of server-side code. You can design and develop horizontally-scalable, resilient and performing-under-load systems.

📍 Experienced in at least one of the cloud platforms - AWS, Azure, or GCP.

📍 Databases. You have experience with multiple storage technologies and can reason about how to choose the suitable storage technology for a given purpose.

📍 You have strong communication skills and desire to make an impact and thrive in small, collaborative, energetic teams.

Twilio's Super Network team is providing and handling the telco connectivity and services that power the Programmable Communications Cloud and Engagement Cloud products. We do this by ensuring the network remains healthy, provides the coverage and capabilities customers require and operates in a cost-efficient manner.
