- Design and build Software Developer Kits for desktop and mobile developers in a pragmatic fashion following established standards and best practices in accordance with company's application development and release processes
- Apply cryptographic solutions to file systems and content data streams in audio applications for the most demanding users
- Utilize software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, continuous integration build processes, and debuggers in the development process
- Create and execute designs for sets of new features as part of the product roadmap
- Collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments, and suggestions
- Provide reliable solutions to a variety of business and computational problems using sound techniques
- Perform technical root cause analysis and outline corrective action for given problems
- Work collaboratively and professionally with other Beatport engineers and product owners in cross functional delivery teams to achieve company goals
- Apply a sense of urgency, commitment, and focus on the right priorities while developing solutions in a timely fashion
- Participate in product and/or application definition activities including feature analysis and system tradeoffs
- Proficient in C required), and Python or JavaScript
- Experienced in delivering native applications for desktop or embedded systems
- Experience with RSA and AES encryption a big plus
- Experience with SDK building highly desirable
- Experience with distributed messaging protocols such as pubsub
