Ruby on Rails Backend developer

3commas.io is a leading cloud-based Order Management System (OMS) and crypto-asset management platform offering a unified access point and interface with the worlds’ top 20 crypto exchanges.
Fully automated trade execution and portfolio management, supported by continuously evolving strategies, algorithms, and risk management solutions.
We have two teams based in Tallinn, Estonia and Saint-Petersburg, Russia.

Who we need

We need an experienced backend developer with deep knowledge of Ruby on Rails+Postgresql stack. Expertise in fin-tech, trading, or cryptocurrencies will be a huge advantage.
We use Postgresql, Sidekiq, Redis, Memcached, k8s.

What’ll you do

• Write modular and scalable code
• Implement new trading algorithms and features
• Tackle high load and security related challenges
• Be responsible for code quality and performance

Skills you’ll need to have

• 3+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development
• Deep knowledge of Postgresql
• Experience in working with at least one key-value store (Redis/Memcached/etc)
• Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, refactoring, code standards)
• Design robust, scalable and secure features
• Solid communication skills (both online and in-person)
• Experience with payment gateways is a bonus (Paypal, Stripe, etc)
• Connection of external API service
• Experience in working with k8s will be a huge bonus
