What you’ll be doing: 

As a member and leader of OS Lab 3D Graphics team you will be working on the optimization of 3D games for Huawei's mobile platform including tools for profiling 3D applications, Game SDK framework, and research and prototyping the state of art 3D technologies ( including mobile Raytracing). As a Leader of the team you will be working on the connections with teams in HQ to work in cooperation mode and ensure that solution effectively delivered to the final product. 

  • Responsibility for the adopted design decisions in the development of new rendering technologies related to raytracing for mobile devices in a multi-platform graphics systems
  • Improving graphics techniques to maximize performance and rendering quality
  • Research on current rendering methods and optimizations on mobile platforms and desktop, lead related teams to improving software and hardware solutions
  • Manage distributed team
  • Maintain trusted partnerships with senior leaders across a wide array of disciplines and teams.
  • Execute of long-range planning, develop and delivery of the team’s core objectives and key results.

What you need: 

  • Proficient in C/C++ (work with modern C++ 11/14 is prefferable), Solid linear and vector math, with 5+ years experience in developing game-relative 3D graphics, knowledge of game engine rendering architecture, modern 3D rendering techniques
  • 3+ years of Experience in managing engineering teams 
  • In-depth understanding of GPU architecture, graphics pipeline, CPU/GPU interaction and syncronisation model, memory management, multithreading.
  • Experience in profiling, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing existing code using low and high levels approaches on both CPU and GPU. Experience using of GPU profilers (RenderDoc / Nvidia Nsight / Intel GPA)
  • Understanding of Physically Based Rendering
  • Deep understanding of the principles of raytracing, accelerating structures and denoising algorithms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate R&D problems, alternatives, and engineering strategyTeam Lead 3D Graphics
