Congratulations Katelyn & Ian

I know...right?

I show up on October 23rd at the Purple Iris in Martinsburg not knowing what to expect.  Katelyn had found my ad on CL in the beginning of October, but didn’t live in the area so there was no chance of meeting and going over things. It was one of those last minute, hail Mary moments. I came as prepared as I could, but I was preparing for the worst. Thankfully, this bride and groom were awesome.  It certainly didn’t hurt that the bride was gorgeous either. They were really laid back, easy to get along with and most importantly trusted me to run the photo show. No one fought me over poses or went on tirades about how they hate their picture taken, and in turn we all had a great time and got some pretty great images. Even the guys, who are normally reluctant about pictures, got creative and had fun. Everyone walked away with sore cheeks from laughing so much…or maybe that was just me.  Thanks for letting me share your special day with you guys.

Here’s a few out takes from the day. I am new at this photo blogging thing and I noticed most photographers put the best shots of the day up. But I figure those will be in my portfolio anyways, so why not just post silly outtakes?

They couldn't quit laughing...lol

As it turns out, bustling a dress is a lot harder than it sounds

Love, love, loved grama and momma

These guys were a lot of fun.
