After months of drama and tension the Golden State Warriors finally found a suitor for disgruntled forward Stephen Jackson.  The Warriors traded Stephen Jackson along with Acie Law to the Charlotte Bobcats in exchange for Raja Bell and Vladimir Radmanovic.

Jackson came into the season with a desire to be moved as he wanted to play for a contending team or in New York rather than Golden State. Within the first two months of the season Jackson had successfully been stripped of his captaincy, belittled his head coach, been suspended & fined and created  a negative aura around the team and organization.

The Warriors get Raja Bell who is in the final year of his contract and Vladimir Radmanovic who is under contract this season and has a player option for next season which more than likely will be exercised.

The Warriors can count their blessings as they came out on top in this deal by getting expiring and short contracts in exchange for Jackson the malcontent and team cancer.

Warrior fans should send Rod Higgins a “Thank You” card.
