You are welcome to download a copy of TextPad for evaluation, or to upgrade from an earlier release. Upgrades from version 8 to 9 are free. There is no charge for the download, but you must pay for the software if you decide to keep it. A single user license costs only £16.50 GBP, $27 USD or €19.

Minimum Requirements

  • TextPad 9 runs on the Intel and ARM 64-bit editions of Windows 10 and 11, and on Server 2016 to 2022.
  • TextPad 8 runs on the Intel 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows 7, 8.1, 10 and 11, and on Server 2008 to 2022.
  • WildEdit runs on the Intel 32-bit and 64-bit editions of XP, Vista, Windows 7, 8.1, 10 and 11, Server 2003, 2008 and 2012 and on the ARM64 edition of Windows 11. The redistributable for Visual Studio 2015-2022 is required and will be automatically downloaded, if not already installed.
