Part of the range is the Unibase-V expandable cabinet for large and/or heavy tools, which has up to four automatically opening and electronically lockable vertical drawers with a maximum load-bearing capacity of 600 kg. Each drawer is equipped with loadable tool holders designed according to customer specifications.
The Unibase-C cabinets for controlled individual tool dispensing, complete the newly developed storage module. When an item is selected, only its individual compartment opens, which reduces the risk of theft and optimises inventory control.
Mapal has also developed software for Unibase-M that connects the tool dispensing system to existing ERP systems. The software carries out permanent, automatic inventory monitoring and offers user-specific evaluation features. Possible actions will be displayed for each item, if permitted, achieving the retrieval of specific items in just a few clicks. Additionally, the software can run on tablets, mobile devices and external computers. Existing customer systems can be updated to the latest software if required.
