PLEASANT HILL — Police are searching for a 15-year-old girl who is developmentally disabled and was last seen Thursday afternoon, officials said Friday.

Jenna Graves, a possible runaway, was reported missing around 8:42 p.m. Thursday, according to a news release from Pleasant Hill police. She did not return home after school at Alhambra High in Martinez.

Jenna may have taken a bus around 2:30 p.m. from the Alhambra Avenue area to Concord BART station, but police do not know her destination. The teen girl’s cellphone was turned off.

Despite appearing physically mature for a 15-year-old, Jenna is developmentally disabled and functions mentally as a 10- to 12-year-old.

Police described her as white with reddish-brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. She’s 5-foot-3 and 165 pounds.

Jenna has a tracheotomy scar on the front of her neck, oftentimes wears heavy makeup, and usually wears dark and black clothes. She has a black and gray backpack. Police could not say what she was wearing when she went missing.

Police encourage anyone who sees Jenna or knows where she is to call 925-288-4600.
