SAN ANTONIO -- Police in Converse have launched an investigation after a mother discovered video of a male nurse and her young special needs son.

It appears to show the at-home nurse repeatedly strike and toss the boy around in his bed.

His mother says this happened throughout the nurse's twelve-hour shift over the weekend.

Rajon, 5, can't walk or talk, so she only found out thanks to security cameras her family recently installed in their home.

"He's not supposed to toss Rajon around," said Jessica Rodien. "He's not supposed to hit him on the head. He's not supposed to use his forearm to hold his face down to the bed. He's not supposed to spank my child. He did all of those actions."

Converse Police say they're in the early stages of their investigation.

Meantime, the agency who hired this man has reported him to the Texas Board of Nursing.
