Alliance men accused of stealing $10,000 in bus parts

Police arrested two men accused of stealing about $10,000 in bus parts from a local company late Wednesday night, Stark County Jail records said.

Bruce A. Whaley, 19, described in jail records as homeless, and Scott L. Mull II, 27, of 133 E. Ely St., were arrested at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday at American Transit, 170 Prospect St.

The jail records said the men had broken into the building and were stealing bus parts when they were apprehended.

Each was jailed on charges of grand theft and breaking and entering, and each remained in the jail early Thursday, held in lieu of $25,000 bond apiece.
