When laying on the shower floor it is about 1/8" thick.

No it is not. It is just as flat as other tub and shower mats.

I don't know the exact measurement of the thickness of the mat but it is softer to stand on it then the tile in the shower :))

I rinse it after each use & hang to dry . Plan to wash outdoors with soap when weather is nice

I wash my in the washer - have several times and I've had it for almost two years and still looks brand new. I love this shower mat

I used comet and then rinsed, but hot water and soap gets rid of scum and any mold on the suction cups as well.

I just use fantastic scrubbing bubbles to clean mine.

I have found Tilex with soap scum remover works best on these mats. Spray BOTH SIDES, let it sit about 20 minutes then use brush to scrub both sides. Rinse. Air dry. Should be OK. It is small enough to but in the washer if you don't accumulate too much soap scum or mildew on it between washings, but don't put it in a dryer.

Any shower cleaner and/or bath magic eraser works well.

The image is &#34;lifestyled,&#34; and what you see with the shower mat are a tube of body wash and a part of a scrubber (the image appears to be cropped). Neither of these items are included with the mat and are only shown as an example of how the mat may look with other shower accessories. I am very happy with this plastic shower mat. It has a nice looking pebble design and stays put on my shower floor. It came rolled up in cardboard sleeve and didn't lay flat when I first put it in the shower. (The edges curled up on one side.) However as soon as the mat got hit with hot water the curled edges went flat and the problem was solved.

Does just what it is supposed to. Does not move around and drains water well. Large size works well in shower stall. I like that it comes in different colors.

The size is perfect for my shower stall, lays nice and flat, creates a non-slip surface and looks very stylish.

The mat is the perfect size for my normal shower, and the amber color won't show the discoloration my white one did. Rated the mat one star less because it is not as soft on the feet as my previous mat.

The mat is very pretty and definitely dresses up the shower! It functions as intended by design and meets our needs. I would have preferred it to be slightly larger to better fit the shower space.

It does the job!

I am very happy with my shower mat. After reading some reviews that it didn't flatten out because of shipping, I set it out in the sun (on a patio table) a day or two so that the heat of the sun would fix it. It worked!

Works for me!

IT fits perfectly in shower stall and does not curl. However, I thought it was made of soft gel filled plastic but in fact it is just thin plastic providing little comfort to the feet. It does not hinder water going down the drain.

I misunderstood what it was

I purchased this mat for my husband who is handicapped. I needed to make his shower as slip resistant as possible. The mat is slicker than the shower floor. I had to remove it immediately before he had an accident. It looks very pretty but it is a safety hazard.

Mat is slippery

this item is a waste of money if your looking for non slip skid safty type mats i thought the "textured" pebbles would provide traction, but no u cant even tell its different and the suction cups that cover the bottom are nice n all IF THEY WOULD SUCTION. all i can say that it is pretty.

This shower mat is very thin. You feel each suction cup when standing on it, which makes it extremely uncomfortable. Don't waste your money.
