Launch of government's MAADHAR app, download from here: The official mobile application developed by the Indian Unique Identification Authority (UIDAI) is to provide interface to give its demographic information to the Aadhaar number holders. Name, date of birth, gender and address along with photos attached to their base number in the smart phone.

1. Download Aadhaar Number Holder Profile - A convenient way to carry the base number any time with demographic details, anywhere.
2. Biometric locking / unlocking - Securing biometric authentication by locking biometrics data. Once resident enables biometric locking system, as long as the base holder is not opted for to unlock (which is temporary) or disables the locking system, their biometric residue remains.
3. TOTP generation - Time-based one-time password is an automatically generated temporary password which can be used instead of SMS based OTP.
4. Profile update - An updated view of the base profile data after the successful completion of the update request.
