The Rhea County Sheriff's Department (RCSD) say two siblings have been arrested and charged with neglecting an adult with disabilities.

On Tuesday, we received bench warrants for George Gill and Joyce Hensley of Dayton.

RCSD investigator Rocky Potter told us that someone reported the abuse to a hotline.

Potter says an officer visited the home, and saw a woman in bed in what he described as physical and mental distress.

Potter says the woman had open wounds, some with larvae inside.

An ambulance took the victim to a hospital.

George Gill has been charged with gross neglect of an impaired adult, and was arrested on $10,000 bond.

Joyce Hensley was charged with adult neglect, and arrested on $7,500 bond.

Both have been released on bond.

James Torrez spoke with RCSD investigator Rocky Potter about the situation - watch his report LIVE at 10pm ET on FOX Chattanooga and NewsChannel 9 at 11.
