I had the privilege of collaborating with Conor Bezane, back in October 2017. He wrote an article entitled What it Feels like to be Dually Diagnosed, for my website, The Bipolar Battle. I was an instant fan!

Conor Bezane’s new book, The Bipolar Addict: Drinks, Drugs, Delirium, & Why Sober is the New Cool, was released on June 21, 2019.

If you have kept up with The Bipolar Battle, you may already know that reading is not my favorite thing to do. Focus is not one of my strengths and for that reason, it is hard to find a book that will keep and hold my attention.

That is why I have no qualms recommending Conor’s new book, The Bipolar Addict. Not only did I love it and give it 5 stars, but I couldn’t put it down. Any book that can hold my attention in the manner of The Bipolar Addict definitely gets my highest recommendation.

The Bipolar Addict

Conor’s story and interviews flowed smoothly and were extremely interesting. He held my attention and excitement throughout the whole book.

Conor has a unique way of connecting to his audience, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The structure and organization of his book were on point, which helped to sustain my focus.

Not only that, but I related and empathized with his life story. Living with bipolar disorder type 1, I felt the balance between addiction and bipolar was great.

A section of The Bipolar Addict details various interviews Connor conducted. I enjoyed reading the section with The Eccentrics characters. I could relate to some of them and they were interesting stories. They all held my interest.

Conor did a fantastic job, and I absolutely loved The Bipolar Addict. I can sum up my feelings in a sentence: A masterful piece of raw authenticity!
