NEW YORK, USA—A video clip from BJP parliamentarian Subramanian Swamy’s interview is getting viral over social media in which he could be listened making fanatic statements particularly against Muslim community, like:
- Most people like our hard line approach to solve pending problems.
- We know where the Muslim population is large, there is always trouble.
- If Muslims become more than 30%, that country is in danger.
On being asked about the right of equality guaranteed by Article 14 of the Indian constitution, Swamy said that the Article 14 is misinterpreted. “Article 14 guarantees equality of equals,” he said while adding that all people are not equal.

This is wrong, this is very wrong! He must be punished for what he said about equality. He is also wrong about Article 14.
There are no different equalities. All people are equal.
But whether you like it or not, he is right about non-muslim cultures when muslim are about 30% of population. Entire civilizations have been wiped out with no exceptions. Take Iran – it was Zoroastrian country before Muslims came, the country of cyrus the great. How many Parsi temples in Tehran today? I would like to challenge anyone to show me a single country in history where muslims were majority and minorities prospered in their lives and their population did not slowly decrease. Go ahead and show me one country. It is not fault of normal muslim people – when it comes to aam aadmi, we are all children of same ONE and we are all one. whether muslims or not. But Mullahs will not stop until non-muslim population are converted to high 90s. This is an absolute fact with no exceptions. Go ahead show me I am wrong and I will admit to stand corrected.
“Entire civilizations have been wiped out” by Muslims. This is not true. Muslims conquered India but did not convert the people to Islam. How did Indonesia become Muslim? Ethiopia and Tanzania are Muslim majority countries. What force has been used there? It is wrong to use violence in the name of religion. It is also wrong to accuse others of it. This is not what our gurus have taught us.
I am a kshatriya by caste. Plz ask the supreme court of India to give me as much reservation as the dalits, becoz we are all equal.
Do the deprived and wealthy require equal rights? Absolutely not deprived people need more rights for their protection. Hence, we have reservation system. Article 14 is right to equality among the equals.
