A 32-year-old with spinal bifida says he was attacked in Henderson by a man on a skateboard.

"I was just on my way to my friend's house when he came out of nowhere," said Carlo Vanetti. "He asked me if I knew him and then hit me in the side of the face."

Vanetti, who used a motorized scooter to get around, says the force of the punch was so hard he fell out of his scooter.

The alleged attack happened near the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints near Water Street and Ocean Avenue. Vanetti says the attack occurred on April 1.

"I filed a report with Henderson Police but that guy is still out there," he said. "I'm worried he might hurt someone else, someone who can't walk."
