Okay, it's not really that bleak. Android 12 will block Sharedr from responding to the share event and you will no longer be able to set it as default.

Share dialog replacement
• It's simple and fast.
• No Direct Share, so none of the delay and layout shifts it causes.
• Long press on items to pin/unpin them to the top of the list, hide or rename them.
• Choose between light, dark and black theme.
• Option to toggle between list and grid layout.

Really loved this app...but had to uninstall. It removed the capability to share out from some apps. i had the option to share as a link and an image. i kept getting a message that it would be fixed later. i used the app for a long time without a fix. When I uninstalled the app the capability to sharenout properly was returned. When it did work it worked well, looked great in dark mode (easy on eyes) and able to pin the most used apps. This saves everyone from scrolling and searching.

Sorry to hear you're leaving but I understand. Unfortunately, the problem lies in Android itself and the Android Open Source Project team is taking their sweet time to fix this. Fingers crossed they'll amaze me and suddenly ship the fix with Q.

Just started using this and already it is so much better than the default Android share panel. This let's you pin apps which Android 10 no longer allows, and you can hide the apps that are useless to you. Even more customization of the items would be great, like being able to change the icons that show, specific ordering of apps, and contacts.

Great and valuable app, without any rival. Google is working on the default slow and messy share menu of Android system, and, according to one of Google's spokespersons, no improvement will happen in this area, until the arrival of the next version of Android. Some suggestions/requests: Please add custom sorting option and batch selection capability, and I recommend not to add unnecessary stuff like item suggestions to the app, to avoid slowing down and reducing performance of it. Thanks.
