Sikh family presents Gold made Chaur Sahib at Sri Harmandir Sahib

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—On December 1, a Madhya Pradesh based Sikh businessman Gurdeep Singh Bhatia and his family presented a gold made Chaur Sahib at sanctum sanctorum Sri Harmandir Sahib. Available details reveal that this Chaur Sahib is made up of 300 grams of gold.

On presenting this Chaur Sahib at sanctum sanctorum, Sri Harmandir Sahib’s head granthi Giani Jagtar Singh honored Gurdeep Singh Bhatia, his son Harpal Singh Bhatia and other family members with Siropaos (robe of honor).

It is noteworthy here that Gurdeep Singh Bhatia heads the Central Sri Guru Singh Sabha (Chhatisgarh). He is also an SGPC nominated member in the Takht Sri Hazur Sahib Management Board.
