The 240Z and 260Z were pure sports cars, but the 280ZX represented the evolution of the Z-car into a Grand Tourer. This evolution continued through two generations of 300ZX and the Z became a true supercar with state-of-the-art engineering features.

Brian Long is a professional automotive historian with many books to his credit. Brian’s research is always diligently thorough, but for this history his Japanese wife, Miho, and strong Japanese connections, have ensured that much new information – from official sources – is included.
