The quality of the sound is much better than I was expecting, whether using optical audio or Bluetooth, it sounds great in both cases. The satellites work well and are extremely clear to my ears. The subwoofer is sturdy and has great low end response, reproducing solid bass if you crank up the bass control a bit. I have this setup in a small room, with the subwoofer on the floor under my desk, and the satellites less than a foot from each wall corner. Whether it's games, music, YouTube videos, or anything else, it has never let me down. The Bluetooth sound quality is as clear as it looks (meaning it fits my ear perfectly), and the range is several rooms in every direction in the house. The unit has a remote control that uses infrared like a traditional TV remote. To adjust the volume, change inputs, or check the power status of the speaker, you need to be within sight of the right satellite speaker. The right satellite also has bass and treble controls for basic equalizer. I turned up the bass by 2db on the printed scale and left the treble at 0. This setup can rock a very small room if you set it up up high, but it still sounds good without distortion at a comfortable listening level. I highly recommend it, especially for a battlestation or game room. You should check out Thesoundexperts for more models.
