Donald Trump is in Philadelphia today, so he decided to get himself a cheesesteak. He chose the South Philly establishment known as Geno's Steaks. To say this is perfect scarcely does it justice.

Geno's sprung up literally across the street from Pat's King of Steaks, the undisputed inventor of the Philly cheesesteak, and started making the exact same product. The only difference is Geno's covered its entire facade with garish neon signs, to the point it looks like the place was airlifted from the far end of the Las Vegas strip.

Sound familiar?

But wait. There's more. The late owner of Geno's, Joey Vento, was a notorious xenophobe and anti-immigrant hardliner who put up signs like this:

Chin, Shirt, T-shirt, Advertising, Tattoo, Display device, Games, Media, Top, Multimedia, pinterest

And, of course, there's this one:

Font, Flag of the united states, Advertising, Superhero, Fictional character, Baseball cap, Poster, Flag, Banner, Hero, pinterest

Pat's Steaks spokesperson Nancy Schure emailed the following statement to Esquire:

Well he obviously chose the wrong place to have a steak...just joking, we are a NPP (No Party Preference Business). We welcome all. But, in the past the Presidents that have won all came to Pat's. Obama and Clinton were a few, and we all know that Gore really won...

The choice in 2016 is an important one. Now a clear one: Choose Pat's.
