WEST HOLLYWOOD (KABC) -- Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man they say exposed himself and groped a young woman with autism after following her off a bus in West Hollywood.

The suspect followed the 20-year-old woman from a bus stop at Sunset Boulevard and Vine Street onto the westbound Metro line #2, bus #3942 around 2 p.m. on April 17, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

He then exited the bus with her at Sunset and Fairfax Avenue. As she was walking home, he exposed himself to her several times, sheriff's deputies said.

Then after they reached an underground parking garage, he allegedly pushed the young woman against a wall and groped her.

Deputies said the man fled the area after another vehicle entered the garage.

The sheriff's department described the suspect as a black male, about 6 feet tall, weighing 225 pounds with a stocky build, with corn rows in his hair and an earring in his left ear.

Deputies asked anyone with information to contact Detective Gregory Boagni at (310) 358-4014 or Detective Sergeant Jeffrey Bishop at (310) 358-4013 at the sheriff's West Hollywood station. Anonymous tips can be provided to Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS (8477) or lacrimestoppers.org.
