Baru Sahib to Hold Akhand Path Sahib for Punjab Police; Offer Resources to Government During Lockdown

BARU SAHIB, HP, India—The Kalgidhar Trust Baru Sahib running under the leadership of Baba Iqbal Singh, has offered the Prime Minister’s office and Chief Ministers of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh to use the Trust’s resources during the lockdown.

In an official letter sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Trust has offered the Government its 121 schools (Akal Academies) situated in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttra Pradesh.

The Trust administrators have also offered their all 104 Akal Academies of Punjab to perform any kind of service assigned by Punjab government by writing an official letter to the Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh.

Bhai Jagjit Singh of Baru Sahib also announced that an Akhand Path Sahib is being organized for the well-being of the Punjab Police. He said that the police is helping the state in fighting the spread of the deadly coronavirus. “This noble initiative is being undertaken under the able guidance of Baba Iqbal Singh Ji,” he said.

Apart from this, the Trust is providing grocery, medical facilities, masks and sanitizers to the people of Himachal Pradesh on a large scale.
