- Frequently Asked Questions:

Why are my email notifications and invitation emails not received by our participants? - (e.g. Survey Invitations, Alerts & Notifications, Send-It):

  • Please ensure that all emails sent from within the REDCap platform are sent FROM an @ucalgary.ca email address. Emails sent using other email addresses (e.g., @gmail.com) may be rejected and not delivered.
  • Due to technical and security requirements on our REDCap platform, it is not guaranteed that participants will receive emails sent from within REDCap using other email address domains (e.g. @gmail.com). It is possible that such emails will be considered spam or unsafe and therefore be rejected by the participant's email provider.
