Monrovia Route 66 Flying A Gas Pumps Removed For Restoration

The vintage "Flying A" gas pumps on Shamrock Avenue along the original alignment of Route 66 through Monrovia have been removed for restoration.

Knowing that people would wonder, there's a sign out front that says: 

"Don't worry, gas pumps are being restored"

With the increasing interest in Route 66, this is great to see at

one of the local spots along the route.
