Fetch Pro 80W AIO by SMOK – Every time we review one of these hybrid pod mod/AIO setups, we always say the same things. “It bridges the gap.” “A pod system for advanced vapers.” Etc. etc. etc. Well, we might have to come up with some new phrases, because the SMOK Fetch Pro is a fantastic vape device, period. No need for labels here — this little mod kicks hard.
Let’s get the details of the FETCH PRO out of the way then get to it.

Construction
Constructed in futuristic visually striking detail, the FETCH Pro Pod System features the same stunning AG reflective glass with decorative striping and incorporates a 0.96″ TFT Display Screen to relay critical vaping information back to the user. Beneath the screen lies a set of adjustment buttons to navigate the menu and adjust any wattage output. In addition, above the screen sits a slotted airflow inlet, leading to the pod connection at the top.
Pod Coils
Accepting pods from the SMOK RPM and RGC Pod Series, the SMOK FETCH Pro can utilize either refillable pod and its associated coil series to create many different vaping combinations catering to the variety of vaping styles of MTL or DTL and for use with nicotine salts or freebase eJuice, making this a highly versatile pod system.

Aesthetics of the Fetch Pro
There’s no two ways about it, the Fetch Pro is one of the sleekest AIOs we’ve seen to date. Imagine a more traditional, box-style pod device, then shrink everything down to the size of a family pack of gum and you have a pretty good idea of what’s going on here. It’s not QUITE shirt pocket-friendly, but for the amount of power contained within, the diminutive size is all the more impressive.
Putting aside “pod mod” comparisons, the Fetch Pro is built extremely well with zinc alloy and glass components. Of course, this also means it’s a slightly heavy vape kit, and definitely not suitable for those looking for something completely discreet.
The Fetch Pro has a full-color TFT display (which is surprisingly similar to competing brands), which allows for full mod control over this “pod” device, all the way to its 80-watt limit. While this would be an antiquated look and feel for traditional vape mods, it’s about as nice as we’ve seen for “pod mods.” What’s better is that it works extremely well, with firm buttons and near-instant response, even at low wattages.
Airflow
Another nice touch is the implementation of the smooth airflow control on the bottom of the pod, which aligns with a nifty opening in the Fetch Pro frame. I loved not having to wrestle this airflow like is the case with so many competing AIO devices. Kudos to SMOK for getting this right.
Tiny AIO
Even the pod tanks themselves seem a step above the usual plastic-like assortment we’ve seen. Solid construction, smooth machining and top-tier materials result in a package that belies the “tiny AIO” designation.
Overall, the Fetch Pro kit is a well-composed package from a vape company known for some of the best on the market.
Vaping the SMOK Fetch Pro Kit
Further blurring the lines between entry-level and advanced vaping, SMOK designed the Fetch Pro to be a true “all in one” mod for all types of vapers. Of the two included heads, the higher-wattage atomizer performed well, but nowhere near as flavorful as the slightly higher-resistance option.
Like we’ve always believed, pod systems are best-suited for low-wattage usage, and the Fetch Pro continues this pattern, with the longer-lasting RPM coil proving to be the more-flavorful and durable of the lot.
Serious Clouds from Pod Mod
That said, we can’t deny that the Fetch Pro can throw some serious clouds, too. While the vapor isn’t the most flavorful we’ve experienced, the 0.4-ohm RPM and 0.17-ohm RGC heads proved to be reliable, fast-heating and long-lasting atomizers.
Even better, none of them swallowed juice like we expected them to. One tank lasted a full evening with an MTL head attached, thanks to the 4.3mL capacity in that configuration.
If there are any complaints to be had with the Fetch Pro kit, it’s that the lower-resistance heads simply don’t offer the same rich, nuanced flavor as the lower-wattage options. It’s definitely not bad, but the muted flavor definitely lessens the experience, especially after being so pleased with the proven RPM heads. If SMOK intends the Fetch Pro to be a long-term platform series for sub-ohm loyalists, then this is something they’ll need to address.
18650 Single Cell Mod
Another mild concern was the battery life. For a single-18650 system, the battery drain was problematic. Even when compared to more-traditional vape devices. I managed just a few hours of moderate use before the Fetch Pro waved the white flag. Naturally, this performance dips further at higher wattages, making the Fetch Pro a less-than-perfect option for sub-ohm users.
But let’s end on a positive note, because the experience WAS positive. Perhaps most appreciated was the device’s compatibility with SMOK’s entire line of RPM coils. Let’s face it, SMOK is known for making an endless line of proprietary coils, so this was refreshing, to say the least.
Pros:
- The higher-resistance coil head was a winner.
- Tremendous construction and build quality
- Strong MTL performance and coil longevity
Cons:
- Sub-ohm coils lack flavor clarity
- Weak battery performance
- Not quite discreet
Bottom Line
As an AIO the SMOK Fetch Pro is without comparison at this price point, giving ex-smokers and entry-level vapers a tremendous value in the box, regardless of their style of vaping. As a mid-wattage advanced vaping device, it’s even more valuable.
While the battery life and sub-ohm performance show that the Fetch Pro might be reaching a little too high, no one can deny that SMOK has blurred the lines further with this kit. We recommend checking one out if you’re looking to graduate from throwaway pod mods.
