There was a Scotsman by the name of Thomas Cook*, who lived around the 19th Century. He lived on a small peninsula off Scotland, and was the founder of tour-boats that traveled around the islands. He often lead guides around the peninsula, and eventually did it out of habit and enjoyment. The Cook family then disappeared for a bit, only appearing here and there every few decades. This ended in the 1960's, when Dane Cook* was born. He soon found an interest in comedy, and produced a series of comedic shows. Several years later, two more Muggles appeared. One was Joan Cook*, a Muggle teacher, and one of the first Cooks associated with Harry Potter. She was a teacher at Dudley Dursely's Elementary school. The other, Bradley Cook*, was a voice actor for a video game, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Eventually, the Cook family begins to expand and we have Katna* and Cora Cook*, the oldest Cook siblings, along with their brother Casper Cook*. The Family has since expanded, and currently has 58 Members.

Katna has been adopted into the Cunningham family and founded the Malamius family, while Cora has been married into the Brown Family and co-founded the Prion family.
