Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

That is certainly understandable. I may have one or two more knives to add. I use an Eyewitness jack with lambsfoot blade quite regularly. Will take and post pics this weekend. Have a great afternoon.

Scrumptious! What kind of cheese? Looks like it might be an aged cheddar?

You have a good eye :)

Thank you, you too, and I'll look forward to seeing your pics :) Here's a TEW of mine - with extra Cheese on Toast content! :D

I have a few loves besides knives, and cheese happens to be one of them! If only the internet could transmit smells. . .

LOL! Smellyvision! D

What do the Guardians think of this blade... possibly a Lambsfoot or is it Sheepsfoot?View attachment 827840

I was looking at that knife earlier, while indexing S-K. Beautiful knife, but to me, it looks more like a Sheepsfoot. You're best placed to judge though

See the posts from here https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/guardians-of-the-lambsfoot.1406735/page-170#post-17677927 to post 3401 on the following page

Nice to know there is some interest, Leslie!! This, I hope, is the year of the US Lambsfoot!!

Count me as interested, too!

I tried to hit the 'like' button twice, but the site won't let me. ;) If it's not too early to make suggestions, I'd love to see one made with all steel (or at least nickel) construction!

... and jet black ebony and/or a recreation of some of the beautiful jiggled bone we see in the older examples in this thread... :D

Happy Friday! Go BIG, then go home!

LOL! :D That's some lovely horn :)

I love the horn on this one... there is way more depth to it than my limited photo skills can represent. (I'm just lucky my thumb isn't in the pics)

IF there is a US version in the works I really hope it can have a variant representing this look... nudge nudge ;)

Although, I must say, there is something about carrying a knife that I know was made in the UK that kinda makes it feel unique and special to me.

Happy to defer to your expertise Jack. We'll call that blade a sheepsfoot.

Oh, I think you're the best one to judge my friend, photos can be deceptive, and you have the knife

Yes, it's very difficult to capture the true beauty of great horn isn't it? :)

My knife "resolution" this year was to not buy a knife until 2019 (so far, so good), and then only buy one knife per year (I know it sounds crazy, but I really want to force myself to make exquisite choices). I think a lambsfoot from GEC would make a great 2019 option for my one purchase. Or maybe I can talk my wife into getting me an A. Wright & Son one as a gift for Valentine's Day?!

Love is Lambsfoot-shaped! ;)
