FIVE FREE ONLINE COURSES

The United Nations Joint Global Programme on Essential Services for Women and Girls Subject to Violence was launched in 2013, in a partnership co-led by UNFPA and UN Women, in collaboration with WHO, UNDP and UNODC. It aims to provide greater access to a coordinated set of essential and quality multi-sectoral services for all women and girls who have experienced gender based violence, by the health, social services, police and justice sectors as well as guidelines for the coordination of essential services and the governance of coordination processes and mechanisms. This e-learning course introduces participants on the service delivery guidelines for the core elements of each essential service.The course will provide basic knowledge and skills to implement the Essential Service Package, as well as to deepen their understanding and engagement on multi-sectoral GBV programming.

UNFPA in collaboration with UN WOMEN, UNODC and WHO presents a five-course online learning curriculum on the Guidelines under the United Nations Joint Global Programme on Essential Services for Women and Girls Subject to Violence:

Module 1: Overview and Introduction to the Essential Services Package for Women and Girls Subject to Violence

Module 2: Essential Health Services for Women and Girls Subject to Violence

Module 3: Essential Justice and Policing Services for Women and Girls Subject to Violence

Module 4: Essential Social Services for Women and Girls Subject to Violence

Module 5: Essential Action for Governance and Coordination of Governance

You can take the above courses at any time, just click on the respective link and complete the certificate. Each course module takes about 1 hour to complete. The curriculum introduces the service delivery guidelines for the core elements of each essential service. The five courses will provide basic knowledge and skills to implement the Essential Service Package, as well as to deepen their understanding and engagement on multi-sectoral GBV programming.
