Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

MR. JACK BLACK
a great big thank you to you sir for this thread, i currently have a ebony wood lambfoot with a new rosewood in transit from sheffield to vacaville california. i have been using this knife for a short time but have only positive things to say. I have really taken a liking to the heft and length, blade shape and steel this knife has to offer. A.Wright and sons is the maker.
See what you started my friend. hats off to you sir
Troy

Indeed, this is a very informative thread! Under the influence of the Guardians, I now have a nice rosewood two blade Wright's Lambfoot. Very nice indeed! I am very impressed by the fit and finish, as well as the authoritative walk and talk. A right handful, with the addition of the second blade, but in a good way--more comfortable for longer sessions of use. I am looking forward to many years of service from this one.

Great stuff Greg :) I just posted this in the EDC thread! :D

Great pic Greg! You have got to post that one in the Lambsfoot thread my friend :)
Nice to see you out and about with your Lambsfoot :)

I'll try and arrange a visit to Arthur Wright's in the next couple of weeks, and with their permission, snap a couple of pics :)

:D :D Thanks, my friend.

I'd love to see photos of Arthur Wright's if they'll allow it. I hope you'll be able to convey to them a bit of all of our appreciation for their work.

I've been missing this thread too. I've been carrying a Lambsfoot every day lately, and will scribble some notes soon on using the pattern as an EDC.

I'm packing at the moment to go to the Lost Trades Fair, and will be camping nearby. The ebony Lambsfoot will be in pocket.

Beautiful patterns in that photo, Greg.

Thanks Chin. I'm looking forward to reading your notes about your experiences with your lambsfoot.

The Lost Trades Fairs sounds fascinating! I hope you're having a wonderful time and that you'll post a bit about it when you've returned.

pholder and Bartleby, welcome to the Gaurdians. I hope you're enjoying your lambsfoot knives and I look forward to seeing photos and hearing your impressions of them as you get to know them.

I'm sure they won't mind me taking a few Greg, I suspect that they would be very surprised to know that there are people so far away discussing their knives and using them :)

Nice knife Frankster, but I'm afraid it isn't a Lambsfoot :( Take a look at the early posts

Cheers Jack and Greg, the Lost Trades Fair was great this year. When I have time I'll put a post together, as I think it's a Porch style event all the way. Probably in the Lounge.

Here's a quick Lambsfoot snap today.

Seared eggplant with garlic, honey, mustard and onion on a sourdough baguette. The ebony Lambsfoot did the honours for lunch prep.

Looking forward to hearing your report Chin, and I'm glad you posted that tasty pic here my friend :)

Tasty indeed, and my wife will let me eat that! Food prep is one of the benefits of the Lamb foot, as I think was pointed out up above the point is about the only contact with the cutting board or plate. I'm off to the grocers to score an eggplant before lunch now!

Harry, that is wicked cool! The translucency of the scales is amazing.

Nice one Harry, you got a real beauty there. Congratulations!

Is she going to be a user? If so, I'll be interested in what you think after it's had some pocket time.
