Several members of Nick Saban’s football team will soon have degrees.

Sixteen current and former Crimson Tide football players earned degrees this spring, it was announced Friday.

The list includes current players like All-SEC offensive lineman Alex Leatherwood as well as two former Alabama players who decided to go back and finish school — Le’Ron McClain and Chris Goode.

Among the other current and former Tide players who earned degrees are offensive lineman Deonte Brown, kicker Joseph Bulovas, long snapper Thomas Fletcher, tight end Miller Forristall, cornerback Nigel Knott, wide receiver Chadarius Townsend, safety Daniel Wright and walk-ons Connor Adams, Joe Donald, Sean Kelly, John Parker and Loren Ugheoke.

Forristall earned a master’s degree.

In addition, there are 88 other Alabama athletes who earned degrees this spring, including softball All-Americans Bailey Hemphill and Kaylee Tow.
