Reverend Pierce attended Richland County Public Schools, and loved going to church with her parents. She grew up lending a helping hand, when needed, as she would have someone do unto her, if or when she needed help. This kindness led to employment by the American Red Cross, until her sight began to fail, which prevented a long career.
Reverend Pierce never let her failed eyesight stop her from furthering her college education in Theology and from studying for her Master's Degree, after moving to Springfield, Missouri. After graduating from the College of Theology, Reverend Pierce took yet another leap of faith. She became host of her very own radio ministry show for the blind, Live By Faith, Not By Sight. Her motto in life was, "You don't have to visually see... for your spirits to be lifted through Christ."
Reverend Pierce was a member of The New Hope International Church in Springfield where Reverend Jamison is the pastor.
