Bibb deputies search for missing Schizophrenic man

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – An Eastman man with schizophrenia has been missing since September of 2015, and the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is looking for him.

56-year-old Michael Spears’ brother filed a missing persons report for him.

The last time his brother saw him was when he was released from the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

The sheriff’s office has been in contact with Spears’ family while working on this case.

Spears’ last known address was in Eastman.

Spears’ brother has checked with the Eastman Police Department.

His family thinks he may be checked into a mental health facility somewhere.

Spears is 5’9 and weighs about 160 pounds. He has short graying hair, a beard and mustache.
