HERD HEALTH. Cattle will have papers to go anywhere. All females four months old will be vaccinated for bangs, unless noted on the supplement sheet. All cattle are vaccinated for Blackleg, BVD, IBR, Leptospirosis and Vibriosis--all cows, semi-annually. All cows will be pregnancy tested before sale. Veterinarian--West Central Veterinary Service, Veedersburg, Indiana.
TRANSPORTATION.
AIR TRANSPORTATION.
Cattle will be at buyer’s risk as soon as sold. We will continue to care for them for a reasonable period of time and will assist in every way possible to group cattle for delivery.
The airport in Indianapolis is served by many major airlines. It is a one-hour drive to the farm. Please let us know if we can be of assistance.
GUARANTEE.
All persons who attend the sale will do so at their own risk and neither owners nor consignors assumes any responsibility, legal or otherwise, for damages, illnesses, accidents or theft. All cattle are at the purchaser’s risk as soon as sold. Assistance will be given in loading and shipping of cattle, but no risk is assumed by anyone associated with the sale.
Animals sold in this sale are guaranteed by the owner to be breeders, provided they are properly handled and cared for by the purchaser. If any open heifer fails to breed, the seller must be notified by age 20 months, otherwise the animal is no longer guaranteed in any way. Any female which is stated to be pregnancy checked safe is guaranteed to be pregnant at the time of the sale. Females cannot be guaranteed if they are subjected to estrus-synchronization or super-ovulation treatment. Any female with a calf at side is considered to be a breeder and will have no further guarantee in this regard.
