Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

My name is Sienna and I have just turned 9 years old. I have been quite scared lately about what I have been seeing and hearing on the news about COVID19. I want to help and so I had this idea! 

I wondered if I could help raise money for my local hospital trust to help them save the lives of the people in our community suffering with COVID19. And also help the staff get the equipment they need. 

I asked my mum, who likes to run, how far a marathon is... it can’t be that hard if loads of people do it right? I thought maybe I could run a marathon to help raise some money. She told me it’s 26.2 miles! So we went for a little run around our block to see how far it was so I could compare it to a marathon.... it was only 0.7 miles and I was really out of breath! 26.2 miles is REALLY far! So my mum suggested we do 26.2 miles but in small segments. So that’s what I am going to do! 

I am going to complete 26.2 miles starting from May 1st and ending on May 31st. I will keep a diary on my mums Facebook page and let you know how I am getting on. 

Please help me raise some money for our local NHS trust, Southport and Ormskirk.
