finance minister goofed while doing simple arithmetic and said that the addition of 16 billion and 6 billion would amount to N24billion. Her speech was made during an address as she exposed some anomalies in the examination body where a declaration of N3
million is being made out of N16 billion generated.

You need to understand how yoruba propaganda works...as soon as the news of Kemi arithmetic failure hit airwaves, they went on youtube and found the worst video of Okonjo Iweala; in fact when she was sick and had to attend a scheduled House of Rep. appearance because she couldn't cancel on the last minute, they used that video to compare with Kemi arithmetic failure in other to play it down. I laughed when the thread popped up on Nairaland. This people are an epitome of propaganda and mendacity.

I chose her over the one who was told 100 - 50 = 100 and she kept quite. In order words N50 stolen out of N100 gives us N100 because stealing isn't corruption.

And the disgrace continues.

truly it s a mistake but why the mistake as an accountant? Was the economy of nigeria affecting her badly than the masses ? What was she thinking? She need to be very careful before she will creates a publicity stunt for herself when none is needed.

She is saying the agency claims to have generated N16Bn but she is also said that she does not believe the figure may the slip of the tongue was reflecting what she truly thinks was what they generated i.e N24Bn

She is one of my favourite ministers still. She is a rising star.
