DSGMC asks Kejriwal to remove the name of Aurangzeb from Delhi’s streets and roads

NEW DELHI, India—The DSGMC president Manjinder Singh Sirsa has written a letter to the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal requesting him to remove the name of Aurangzeb from Delhi’s streets and roads. Notably, Sirsa and other DSGMC had also blackened the signboards of Aurangzeb road yesterday.

Shedding light on the cruelties of Aurangzeb, Sirsa has written that Aurangzeb was responsible for the forced conversion of Hindus into Islam, massacring lakhs of Hindus who didn’t convert to Islam and martyring Guru Teg Bahadur Ji for not adopting Islam.

“It was his orders to brick Chote Sahibzaade alive in Fatehgarh Sahib for refusing to embrace Islam,” reads the letter.

“Considering sentiments of people of this nation especially Sikhs, you are requested to consider removing the name of Aurangzeb completely from Delhi’s streets and roads for which we shall be thankful to you,” Sirsa wrote to Kejriwal.
