Crunchyroll Adds ‘Bakuten!!’ Anime Theme Song Streaming

The April 2021 noitaminA block of anime has a new project that will be a part of it with the announcement of Bakuten!! With the series making an April 8th, 2021 debut, Crunchyroll previously revealed their pickup of the series with plans for it to be called Backflip!! With the series out there in the wild now, Crunchyroll has added the opening theme song “Seishun no Enbu” by Centimillimental for streaming to check out below!

The series will be available to viewers in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS when it arrives.

The original series will be directed by Toshimasa Kuroyanagi based on the series composition by Toshizo Nemoto. Robico is working on the original designs with Yuki Shibata adapting them and serving as the chief animation director.

The Japanese cast includes:

  • Shimba Tsuchiya as Shōtarō Futaba
  • Kaito Ishikawa as Ryōya Misato
  • Daisuke Ono as Masamune Shichigahama, the rhythmic gymnastics team captain
  • Takashi Kondo as Keisuke Tsukidate, the team vice-captain
  • Hiro Shimono as Nagayoshi Onagawa, a third-year
  • Hiroshi Kamiya as Kōtarō Watari, a second year
  • Ayumu Murase as Mashiro Tsukiyuki
  • Katsuyuki Konishi as Tōru Takase
  • Kenichi Suzumura as Yōjirō Mutsu
  • Tomokazu Sugita as Hideo Ōminato
  • Sōma Saitō as Kyōichi Ryūgamori
  • Daiki Yamashita as Shunsuke Azuma
  • Takahiro Sakurai as Shusaku Shida
  • Reina Ueda as Ayumi Futaba

The opening theme for the series is “Seishun no Enbu” (The Dance of Youth) by Centimillimental while the ending theme song is “Anata ga Iru” by wacci.

Plot Concept: Set in Miyagi prefecture’s Iwanuma city, it focuses on a high school rhythmic gymnastics team. The anime follows Shōtarō Futaba, who is fascinated by gymnastics after seeing it in his third year of middle school, and joins the rhythmic gymnastics team of his new high school Sōshūkan High School, nicknamed “Ao High.” He makes a friend with his schoolmate Ryōya Misato, who earned fame for as a gymnast during middle school.
