Rising from the Ashes

From the Covid-19 pandemic to the Bobcat Fire, the incredible value of our parks and open space has become even more clear.

Now more than ever, we realize the importance of spending time outside and in nature to help clear our minds, renew our souls and provide opportunities for exercise and community engagement. We are all mourning the loss of some of our beloved natural spaces as well as access to Canyon Park, but we have an opportunity, as Monrovians have in the past, to rise from the ashes by supporting our essential parks and open spaces in Monrovia and ensuring we have the resources, facilities and programs for the community to come back even stronger from the fire and the pandemic.

Want to see what you donations can fund? Please check out our Projects page from the web site top menu or click here where you can see the list of projects we hope to fund as well as updates on any funded projects. Thank you for all YOU do to make this all possible!

Bobcat Fire Ornament/Keepsake

Bobcat Fire Ornament/Keepsake

This ornament was handcrafted in Monrovia with wood from the Canyon Park that burned during the 2020 Bobcat Fire. It reminds us of beauty and resiliency in times of adversity. Proceeds from this Inaugural Annual Ornament support the Monrovia Parks, Wilderness, and Recreation Foundation, Inc.
