We’re looking for the craziest, most shareable ideas we can find to help us spread the word about Meet Me in Winter and we’d like you to help us! We’re inviting you to send us short adverts which we can share on our YouTube channel as well as on Facebook and Twitter. They don’t have to be super-professional. Often the catchiest, funniest, most-successful videos aren’t the slickest ones. You could be a complete novice at film-making and still come up with the best idea. And we want to see them all!

So fancy having a go? If so, here’s what you need to know:

1. Video needs to be under 90 seconds long

2. It needs to be suitable for people of all ages to watch – nothing dodgy please!

3. It needs to feature the words ‘Meet Me in Winter’ and the web address: www.meetmeinwinter.org Mentioning that the track is available from iTunes would be good too. You might want to use some of the tune or words of the song. If you do, check this out, or go to the Sing with us page of this site to help you learn it.

If you want to publicise a specific thing – that’s fine. You might encourage people to support us so that we: raise money for charity / go for chart success / get thousands of people all over the world singing…. But this is all up to you.

There will be two categories, one for under 18s, one for over 18s. That’s it.

And the prize…. well, the winning entrants will get a place each on the Team page of the website, plus MMiW T shirts and wristbands AND to have their work seen by a team of industry professionals – sorry, can’t tell you more today, but will very soon…

Check in regularly to find out more about who will be judging the competition and to watch the entries as they come in. It’s all very exciting!!!!

Closing date for entries is Monday 5th December, but do get your entries in early. We’d love to start using them to publicise Meet Me in Winter as soon as we possibly can. To enter, simply register on the site here and then mail us here for full info.

p.s. Just to get you started – check out the video below from Phoebe Magnone and Charlie Nibbelke!
