The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) reports the following I-80 traffic impacts as a result of construction and maintenance operations this week and beyond. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
I-80 Work Zones
I-80 in both directions between MM 46 and Exit 55
NE-19; Sidney; West Entrance (4 to 11 miles west of Sidney)
Long term road construction work. Head to head traffic. Work includes bridge widening, and guardrail replacement. There is a 12-foot width limit in effect. Anticipated completion is September 2024.
I-80 in both directions between MM 53 and MM 61
(Sidney)
Road construction work is in progress. A lane is closed intermittently.
I-80 in both directions between MM 349 and MM 361
(York)
Road construction work is in progress. A lane is closed intermittently. There is a 14-foot width limit in effect. Work includes asphalt paving, guardrails, seeding, and bridge work.
I-80 in both directions between Exit 366
Utica Link; Utica (13 miles east of York) and MM 389 (9 miles west of Lincoln)
Night time construction work is in progress. People are working in the median. A lane is closed intermittently. There is a 12-foot width limit in effect from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. CDT Sunday thru Friday.
I-80 at MM 380

The left lane is closed. Road maintenance work is in progress. Bridge deck repair.
