It came after a video surfaced on Snapchat allegedly showing them shouting and mocking an eight-year-old, police say.

The boy, who was diagnosed with autism was seen and heard in the video crying and hiding underneath a table while being teased by Henderson and Smith.

Police said at one point, the child crawls from under the table and runs around the room when one of the workers grabs his arms and does a "leg sweep".

This is said to have caused him to fall flat on his back.

Police said the video shows one of the workers then throwing shoes and a backpack at the child while he's under the table.

Just last month, Smith and Henderson were certified to work with kids with autism, according to police.

Both have now been sacked, cops say.

Smith was charged with child abuse and battery while Henderson was charged with child neglect.
