Description:
We are currently looking for a trainee to help our small project to grow, for a minimum stay of 6 months, under an Erasmus+ scholarship.
The trainee will participate in the creation of new stationery designs, including pattern design, editorial design, and social media content. The trainee will also learn all kinds of bookbinding technics in order to help in the production of new assignments and books, assist during workshops, and will help with daily organizational tasks.
No experience is required, but we're looking for an proactive, attentive and meticulous person.
The trainee will work closely to the company director and will learn a lot about bookmaking and design.

Bulhufas is a Lisbon based studio, specialized in bookbinding, editorial design projects, handmade books, and stationery. Our unique handmade books are made from scratch using all kinds of manual techniques and sustainable materials. Run by Leticia Burkardt and Tiago Casanova, both graduated in architecture, all products and designs are influenced by their background, either by the preference for geometric and spatial patterns or by the architecture and structure behind the construction of each book, always dedicating profound attention to details.
We offer a wide range of services such as stationery products, personalized books, albums and boxes, and customized book projects from layout to printing supervision, assembly, and binding.
