Your abstract submission will be considered complete when you submit the following:

  1. Author information on the next page.
  2. Abstract - use Word template provided and upload here.
  3. Attestation form with Intellectual Property certification, signed and uploaded.

Once completed and all items are uploaded, you will receive an email confirming your abstract submission.


Abstract Instructions

Please follow these instructions exactly or your abstract will be returned.

  • Limit one first-author submission per research fellow.
  • Abstract may be no longer than one page, including figures.
  • Must use abstract template provided. It is formatted for final publication. No other format will be accepted.
  • Figures, tables and images may be included (color or b/w), but must be inserted into the one page maximum abstract.
  • Former winners may submit an abstract to present at the celebration but are not eligible for an award.
  • If there are co-first authors, both must be MGH research fellows at the time of the poster celebration in order for the presentation to be eligible for an award, and neither may be a former award winner. If an award is given, it will be split between the co-first authors.
  • You may submit work that has been presented at an outside conference within the past year.
  • Abstracts must describe research conducted at MGH.
  • No abstracts will be accepted after Fri, Feb 28 due date.
  • Once your abstract is accepted, you must send your poster PDF by Fri, Apr 10 to be considered for an award and cash prize.
  • You must be present on Poster Day (Thu, May 7) to receive an award and cash prize.
  • Research Fellow/Lab is responsible for printing of his/her own poster.
