ApprovalMax develops SaaS software solutions for finance and accounting automation. We are operating out of Germany as well as Russia and the UK, and sell our products on the English-speaking markets worldwide. And we are currently expanding our world-class engineering team and hiring an Application Support Engineer with experience in .Net / C#, React, Redux.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor incoming tickets, assess appropriate priority by working with business and triage accordingly
• Independently investigate into the bugs and code base, troubleshoot and resolve technically complex, mission-critical issues and prioritise with the customer
• Create and drive permanent solutions and improvements after root cause is identified
• Customer orientation is key. Collaborate with internal business partners, engineering teams, and other technology teams in the organisation
• Create, maintain and share technical knowledge documentation in knowledgebase repository

Knowledge and Experience

• 3rd line/application/production support experience
• Previous .NET/C#, React, Redux experience
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence or similar bug-tracking tools
• Familiarity with Object-Oriented Design & Development
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline concepts is a plus, but not essential

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to manage a varied workload to tight deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and work independently with minimal oversight
• Great communicator who keeps all stakeholders updated with issue progress and updates
• Strong communication skills (written and oral)
• Commercial awareness
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• English - B1 - C1 level
