The story of a 17-year-old autistic teen who went missing from his home Monday night ended happily when he was found safe, cops said early Tuesday.
Police received a call that the teen was missing from his Bay 32nd St. home in Bath Beach shortly before 9 p.m., an NYPD spokesman said. Cops did not release the teen’s name or detail how and where he was located.
A helicopter and canine unit assisted in the search Monday.
