Jack, my girls (well my wife from my girls) told me to pick one out for my bday over the weekend. I decided I needed a A. Wright & Son Lambsfoot in buffalo due to you pics.
Great photo Jack, I owned once an Ablett Barlow, great knife, I am bit sorry for letting it go.
Thamks Mike, not mine I'm afraid, I was sorting through some postcards today to accompany packages to various forum members, and on finding this one, I thought it had a place here  It'll be around a year since Trevor passed
I've enjoyed my buffalo horn A. Wright Lambsfoot so much that I thought it deserved a compatriot to keep it company. I couldn't be happier with this variegated ebony beauty that arrived from Sheffield.
Congrats, Brett; the geometric pattern of the light-colored "feathering" of your buffalo horn is entrancing!:thumbup:
Greg, I've enjoyed the variety in your photos of your buffalo horn lambsfoot, and now I'm looking forward to seeing this bewitching ebony version in different lights and situations!!:thumbup: Congrats on another gorgeous example of the pattern!I've enjoyed my buffalo horn A. Congrats on the lovely lambsfoot, StoneBeard! Thanks for the insightful review and testimonial. (Plaudits to Greg for the splendid gift! :thumbupReally happy to have this Sheffield Lambsfoot as my newest addition. I like everything about this knife. The size and weight immediately represent reliability and longevity. I appreciate the strength of the spring. It is a smooth pull to around the half way point, I'd call it a 6 and it gets stronger at around an 8 continuing to the fully open position. For a knife with no half stop this an outstanding feature. Really like the Lambsfoot blade shape. It is extremely easy to sharpen and the extra large nail nick will allow for decades of reshaping to the same profile. The buffalo horn scales are one of the most attractive options I've seen for an unaltered natural material, really great looking stuff. Having one now I feel foolish for not picking one up a long time ago. Thanks again Greg-

Very nice, ADEE!:thumbup:Another item for this noble thread. A lean but worthy Joseph Rodgers.
