Great looking Ebony, Jack!
Great looking Ebony, Jack!
Does anyone have older examples of A. Wright Lambsfoot knives in their collection? Unless I've missed some, the only ones that I've seen shared here are of relatively recent vintage.
The firm has been around since 1947, though, and I wonder whether/how their interpretation of the pattern has changed over their history. I'm curious both about the shape and materials.

Yes... PB no longer allows me to share my photos without paying a subscription. My previous photos are no longer available. I'll look into alternatives.
Jack, thanks for tracking that old picture down. smiling-knife that's a lovely lambsfoot you have. I look forward to seeing more of it when you're set up for photos again.
And, Jack, that's a cool cutler-at-work photo. Thanks for sharing it.
My kingdom for a fresh fig (in central Wisconsin).
My fig tree is having a good year, I thought I would get a pic of my lambsfoot doing something that probably not many other lambsfoots get a chance to do..figs right off the tree
Thanks for sharing that photo L lambertiana . I love seeing photos of Lambsfoot knives being put to use. They're such a useful pattern; they deserve to be shown more at work, I think. I'll have to try to do better about that....
Wow.Right now I can fill more than a quart bowl with fresh figs every day.
Up-graded my account so can post photos again.
