Ukraine is not an ally of Croatia, but they are trying to make it forcibly. This was stated by Croatian President Zoran Milanovic. So he responded to the initiative of Prime Minister Andrei Plenkovic, who proposed to train the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Croatia.

According to the president, “Plenkovych, in the manner of a sociopath, shoved into parliament” a proposal to train Ukrainian soldiers.

He noted that the Plenkovich government constantly blames opponents and engages in moralizing.

“You yourself are completely immoral.

Go to Ukraine and fight there,” the president said.

He was asked if Croatia should be among the countries that do not want to participate in the EU mission to train the Ukrainian military, to which Milanovic answered in the affirmative.

“Ukraine is not our ally.

They are forcibly trying to make it to them.

She is being cynically given the status of an EU candidate,” said the head of state, quoted by index.hr.

In October, Zoran Milanovic spoke out against the training of the Ukrainian military on Croatian territory.

Milanovic also stated that Ukraine has no place in NATO.

According to him, the change of power in Ukraine was a coup, "any movement, but not democratic."

After that, the Croatian Prime Minister Plenkovic apologized to Kyiv.
